Man, I was irritated with Joyce last night. In effect I forgot my ID today. Sigh. Good thing I got through the gate without any fuzz. I can’t go out anytime soon until later at 4:30pm. This is irritating and made my day bad. Today feels like a long day. Sigh. I hope the time flows faster today. Bad day and all. Found the time to go online near our house and the internet connection is fast enough for me. I’ve done quite a few articles and is set to publish until about Sunday. Too bad I can’t adjust my plurk now. I can’t go on a daily internet check with my budget for now. I’m trying not to play at night with the PS2. Sigh. It’s so tiring. The weather seems to be starting to change again. It’s not as cold as it was a few days ago. I’m thinking of visiting my mom again tonight. With what I’m feeling today I want to see a friendly and motherly smile. Hope my dad’s there too. I’m waiting for my bosses to ask me for some stuffs. Sigh. I plan to go out during lunch and go home. I want to get my ID. Sigh. This all stink by the way. Sigh. Or I could just wait until tonight to get my ID at home.

It’s just getting to be 10am. I want the day to end faster. Sigh. My mood is really that bad. My face is frowning now.

I have to read the meters for deep well nos. 2 and 3 later at 3:30pm.

It’s already lunch.

I’m waiting for 3:30pm so I can read the deep well meters again. Sigh.

I will not go out at 3pm to eat snacks. I’ll probably just stay at the canteen. I’m going to my mom’s house tonight. Brin went there today to eat lunch. He misses his grandmother a lot. This day is so bad. I feel it in my bones. Sigh.

My fingers got caught in between the glass cabinet. It freaking hurts. It already turned black on the tip. Sigh.

I think I’ll go out again to do readings. It’s not windy outside anymore unlike a few days ago. Now it’s totally hot.

Less than an hour to go before the official reading time. It’s 2:42pm. Looks like I’m eating at the canteen this afternoon.

It’s the afternoon break time. But I’m staying inside the plant. I already ate at the canteen. Their pasta pomodoro taste like putanesca. Sigh. I can’t seem to write anything else for the day. I’m signing off.

Well it’s the weekend again. I’ll rest tomorrow whew. The week was hectic. I did a lot and almost have no down time. I plan to go home early today but I still have to go to my mom to get the fresh chicken for tomorrow’s potluck. I am not keen on going there honestly. My mom’s family are all so grouchy. And I don’t really feel at home there even my family.

The time is moving so slowly today. Sigh.

Man I planned to go home at around 2-2:30pm but ER told me to read the meters at 3pm. Sigh.

Lots of brouhahas coming out here. Sigh. I think every office is like that. I guess that’s how people interact with one another.

I still can’t get use to like on a plant. When I was at TNC, I really like the people there (plant site) although I’ve to be really careful of everything I do and say. Sigh.

My dad said that life is like a ball, that no matter how many times we bounce around we always bounce back. I feel like I’m starting over again from scratch which is very true in my case. I’m at the bottom so to speak again.

I never really complained about the offices I worked with although when the time comes when I get dissatisfied with them I really have to leave them behind. I never had the chance to work for a good paying company until now. Lots of people seem lucky in my eyes that they get well paid but that’s not really true in some cases.

A good company is hard to find here in the Philippines that’s why so many of us go abroad to work. Not only does it pay higher but you can save money in a shorter span of time. But that’s the main reason why so many families are broken. No bonding between their mommies and daddies.

I’m going to set up my PC at the conference room in a while.

Logging off for the time being. It’s 1:17pm.

Well I just restored my PC to its original state. I’ve taken it out of the conference room along with the projector. It’s now 3:54pm. It’s just about 36 minutes before I go home. I will drop by my mom’s house today. I need to go online for a while before going home. I also want to see my mom and dad today.

I don’t know is my system can digest what I ate this afternoon. Sigh. If only I ate bread instead. I don’t know why Mitch wanted to eat there. The place was full of flies and stuffs. My bourgeois is showing. Sigh. I would have been snobbish if I didn’t eat with them and they might take offense. Trouble with eateries like that is their basic hygiene. Welcome to your life as a factory worker Lhal.

The day is practically over and I’ve less than 30 minutes to go. I hope tomorrow will be a more fruitful day. it’ll be mid-week again and I’m still okay with everything. I don’t want to be complacent with my status here. It’s hard to be that naïve and stupid.

I hope to see my dad today. I just want to have friendly conversation with him.

Brin and I watched 5 latest episodes of Bleach last night. It felt weird going in and out of continuity like that on a cartoon show. American animation won’t do such thing. They should have let the fillers go on for a while just to update the main story and make it more cohesive. As of now it looks like a mosaic mess.

Tonight we’ll watch the latest episodes of Naruto Shipuuden. As I know it’s still all-fillers. At least continuity is more fluid and straight with Naruto. Bleach is such a messy cartoon.

I’ll be going in a while so I got to sign off now. See you tomorrow.

2011 a new year

Well, 2010 is but a memory. 2011 is now. I can’t believe it’s been a decade since Y2K. A lot has happened in 10 years. Although amazingly we only have 2 presidents during this decade, 3 if you count ERAP. I had 3 job changes during this decade. I met a lot of people thru the DC message boards this decade. Facebook, plurk, twitter and all them social media appeared like mushrooms during the last 10 years.

The kids have grown so much during the last 10 years. My eldest is about to graduate high school. It makes me feel old. Comics have grown during the last decade. The Philippines seem to have fallen backwards during the last 9 years before P-Noy took the presidency.

Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture has swept the country by storm in this last 10 years making the Filipino culture almost unknown to most of the Filipino people. Churches have flourished and have divided also. It was about 10 years ago that my family transferred to the vineyard and about 6 years later gone to do house churches. I also appeared on TV during this decade. My feature in 700 club Asia seem to be replaying over and over the last 6 years I think. My dad has shifted religion from Christianity to the more legalistic Jewish traditions. My mom aged horribly during this last decade. I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago, now I’m in medication ever since.

My kids were elementary and now high school during this decade. My kids won’t win any loyalty awards since they had different schools during their high school life.

Well, a new year means new hope. I’m no believer in new year resolutions because often than not it isn’t really followed. It’s like broken promises.

I think this year will be a good year for us, unlike the last 2 years where we really struggled in every aspect of our lives. This year shows promise.

New Job at Nestle

This is my 4^th day of work in my new job. I just officially started working for Nestle in Cabuyao last Wednesday. I started processing my papers last week. It’s been a gas. I’m now working for Engineering. It’s a long way from my usual work at Accounting. I thank my sister-in-law for setting me up here.

So technically, I’m a clerk here. Working for Industrial Services. I’m adjusting my schedules because it seems I can’t do my other sideline works. I have to give Dr. Cruz a call that I’m giving her account to Robert or Warren whichever.

I’m doing my technical stuffs here, stuffs I took for granted when I was working for TNC. At least the family’s happy for me this time. It’s been 2 long years since I got a decent work. Last year was the pits.

Anyway, I hope this time things will turn out different than before.

The Dark Knight Rises

Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film will be called “The Dark Knight Rises” and though Nolan isn’t ready to reveal the villain of his 2012 film, he did eliminate one member of Batman's rouges gallery: “It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan said in an exclusive interview with the Hero Complex.

Nolan, who is notoriously silent lipped about his movies, caused quite a stir with the elimination of Edward Nigma, the Riddler, who many people assumed was the next natural choice. This is a bit of a disappointment to us, as we were thrilled to have Nolan erase the painful memories of Jim Carey's ridiculous portrayal of The Riddler in the old Batman films. But Nolan has earned the right to do anything he wants in the next Batman film based on how well he has handled Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.

Here's hoping for another great Batman tale.

Destabilization reports a flop, say solons

The alleged plan to destabilize the Aquino government is not going to work given the popularity of President Aquino, lawmakers said yesterday.

President Aquino, they said, has been given a clear mandate and that moves to destabilize his government will not muster the support of the people.

House Deputy Speaker and Quezon Rep. Lorenzo “Erin” Tanada III and Eastern Samar Rep. Ben Evardone said the President should ignore the report.

“I don’t think the people who elected Pnoy will allow (other group) to step in even if Pnoy’s rating plunges because Pnoy was legitimately elected by the people without a Hello Garci. The people will not support GMA (former President Arroyo) as an alternative,” said Tanada reacting to an alleged military intelligence report on a plot against the President.

Evardone, for his part, said that the people should reject shadowy solidarity for sovereignty (S4S) because it is nothing but destabilization group which will resort to grand deception just to achieve its objectives.”

“The S4S personalities who came from out of the blue may not be the real force behind the group. Instead of destabilization moves, the S4S and other sectors should rally behind the administration as it moves towards a new direction and vision for our country. It’s very early for too much politicking. We have so much problems than politics. The Aquino administration should just ignore the S4S and its unfounded advocacies,” said Evardone.

House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said reports about destabilization has always been part of Philippine politics.

“You know in our political system these things always happen. If you are in this game and you find it too hard, you should not be in this game. Talagang some people have nothing better to do than criticize pero okay lang iyun, it is part of politics,” said Belmonte.

The speaker, however, warned the military not to get involved in the alleged plot.

What Don’t We Know About Superman’s Movie Return?

The new Superman movie project seems to be all hush-hush. What to expect? I really dont know. I hope they get Brandon Routh to play Supes again somehow….I really like him back in Superman Returns..honestly….

So, now we know that Zack Snyder will be directing the new Superman movie, we know that David Goyer has written the script, and we know that General Zod is heavily rumored to be the villain. So why does it still feel as if we need to know more?

It’s odd to feel as if there’s a lot about the Superman reboot that’s being kept secret; in addition to everything listed above, there’s also a plot logline floating around – Clark Kent travels the world as a journalist, deciding whether or not to become Superman – that many have pegged to mean that the movie will reflect Mark Waid’s wonderful, overlooked Superman: Birthright comic in some way, even if it sounds more like Smallville: The International Edition to me. But it does; for whatever reason, the Superman movie still feels like something we’re being kept from, in some way… I don’t know if it’s that we’re so used to knowing everything about movies in advance from spoilers, teaser trailers and casting announcements, or that Superman in particular inspires such trepidation and anxiety out of fear that it’ll be done “wrong” (See: Superman IV: The Quest For Peace or, for some, Superman Returns, although I’m one of the few who likes that movie… Not to mention any of the unmade Superman movies that were developed in between the two).

But short of everyone being able to read Goyer’s script – already being described as “a mess”, of course – or having some Kryptonian supercomputer that shows them the future, what else is there to know about the movie? There hasn’t been any casting done, as far as anyone knows, nor has Snyder even started work on the movie (and he isn’t expected to until his Sucker Punch is completely finished), so… don’t we actually already know everything that there is to know already? It’s almost not even worth speculating about, because right now, there’s not anything to really speculate on that isn’t… well, completely speculative. For all we know, Snyder is going to CGI motioncap all of the characters on performances from William Shatner and Betty White (Now, there‘s a rumor I want to see picked up on Ain’t It Cool).

I mean: Yes, I’m excited and nervous about how the movie is going to turn out, as well. I love Superman as a character, and I want to be able to love his movies, as well. Snyder makes me nervous as the choice of director based on his previous movies, but, so what? Maybe this is the one where it’ll all come together for me; I won’t even be able to guess how true that’ll end up being until we know more about the movie, though, and right now, there just isn’t any more to know. So, maybe it’s time to stop thinking about the thing until someone’s willing to give us some more facts – or, at least, well-sourced rumors – because, otherwise? We’ll be sick of the movie before the movie’s even been made.

Before the weekend

I'm too exhausted to go to San Juan today. 2 days of going from Laguna to Quezon City really took it out of me. I didn't really want to go out today. I need to finish some stuffs that need to be submitted next week.
The week's almost done. February's 1 work week old. Time really flies fast.
Need to rest my body. I feel really exhausted from January's hectic schedule. My kids would be thrilled since it's going to be the 1st time that I'll be spending time with them for 2 straight days.
It also gives me time to do some stuffs at home I neglected due to my work load.

Hope this weekend would be fruitful.
